VYREX INTERACTIVE

Privacy policy

Last updated:

Vyrex Interactive LLC ("we") runs vyrexinteractive.com and its forums. This page says what we collect and why.

What we collect
  • Steam sign-in data. When you sign in with Steam we receive your public SteamID, display name, avatar and profile URL. We never see your Steam password, email address or payment details.
  • What you post. Threads, posts, conversations, reactions and attachments you create on the forums, plus the IP address the post came from.
  • Technical logs. Standard web-server logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp.
  • Messages you send us. The contact form stores your name, email, message and IP so we can answer.

What we do with it
We use it to run the site and the forums, to answer support requests, to enforce the rules, and to stop abuse. We do not sell it, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Who else sees it
  • Our hosting provider, as part of serving the site.
  • Steam, when your browser loads store images or you follow a link there.
  • YouTube, only if a page you open embeds a video (we use the no-cookie player).
  • Anyone, for the content you post publicly. That is what a forum is.

Cookies
One session cookie keeps you signed in across vyrexinteractive.com and its forum subdomain. There are no advertising cookies.

How long we keep it
Account data lasts as long as the account. Server logs are rotated by the host. Contact messages are kept while they are useful and then deleted.

Your rights
Ask us to export or delete your account data at [email protected]. Deleting an account removes the profile; posts may be kept with the author anonymised so threads still make sense.

Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13, and accounts require a Steam account.

Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on the forums.
